Dental Health

Dental disease is one of the most commonly diagnosed diseases in our pets. By the age of three, 80% of pets will have some form of dental disease. If left untreated, dental disease can lead to serious consequences. Bad breath and tooth loss can occur but bacteria from chronic dental disease can spread to the heart, kidneys, and other organs causing damage. Owners often don’t realize their pets are suffering from dental disease as they continue to eat. They can’t tell us their mouth hurts. At Pet Care Center, we have a full dental suite including dental x-rays to promote and maintain the oral health of your pet. Each pet who receives a dental doesn’t just get their teeth cleaned, but receives a full oral health examination. Teeth are probed and checked for disease. Dental x-rays are taken of the full mouth. A happy mouth means a happy, healthier pet.
